privacy

you can style a baddii without an account. mybaddii has no third-party analytics or advertising trackers. our own server keeps anonymous counts of studio steps (for example “finished a look”) with no cookie, no identifier and no IP address, so we can see where the game loses people. if you order, we use your design and delivery details to make and deliver the figurine.

who controls your information

mybaddii is a trading name of a UK sole trader based in London, who is the data controller for information collected through mybaddii, and the seller and merchant of record for every figurine order. that business also trades as GetFigure, which is the name shown on the payment page and on your receipt.

what we collect

• while you style: the page holds the skin tone, hair, outfit and other choices needed to show the current design. no account, name or email is required to use the styling studio.
• technical records: Hostinger receives IP address, browser, time and request information in short-term hosting and security logs. the studio’s fonts are served locally from the mybaddii site.
• when you order: the selected design, generated preview and 3D model; name, email, phone and delivery address; order, approval, payment-status and tracking information; and support, return or safety messages.
• payments: Shopify and its payment providers handle full card details. the checkout seller receives payment status, not your full card number or security code.

why we use it

• to run the styling feature you asked for: our legitimate interest in providing the site;
• to generate the preview you request: steps before a contract;
• to take payment, make, check and deliver the figurine: performance of the contract;
• to answer messages, prevent abuse and handle faults or safety reports: contract and legitimate interests;
• to keep tax, transaction, traceability and safety records: legal obligation; and
• for future optional tracking or electronic marketing, if any: consent, asked for first.

we do not use the studio for behavioural advertising, profiling or a solely automated decision with legal or similarly significant effects.

service providers

• Hostinger hosts mybaddii in Europe.
• MyBaddii serves the studio typefaces locally from the same Hostinger site.
• Shopify provides the checkout and order system and connects payment providers.
• Meshy AI in the United States helps turn the chosen design into images and a 3D model.
• Anthropic in the United States generates the replies of “her stylist”, the optional chat in the studio, from the messages you type there and the doll’s current look.
• The manufacturing partner receives the production model file and order reference, not a customer photo.
• Delivery carriers receive the contact and address details needed to deliver.

A manufacturing partner produces the full-colour 3D print. The London fulfilment team quality-checks and repacks it before dispatch.

we may share information with authorities or advisers when the law requires it. we do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

international transfers

the site operator is in the UK, Hostinger is in Europe, Meshy AI and Anthropic are in the United States, and Shopify may process information in several countries. where a transfer needs a safeguard, we use an applicable adequacy decision or contractual protection such as standard contractual clauses and the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or UK Addendum.

her stylist (the studio chat)

“her stylist” is an optional, automated chat inside the studio. when you use it, the messages you type and the doll’s current look are sent to Anthropic to generate the reply; nothing else about you is sent, and you do not need an account. the conversation is held on the mybaddii server for about 30 minutes after your last message, then forgotten; it is not used for advertising or to build a profile. please do not type personal details (real names, contact details, addresses) into the chat. the stylist can be wrong: prices, delivery times and terms are the ones shown at checkout and on this site.

how long we keep it

• a design held only in the page disappears when the page session ends;
• a saved design (its image and share page) is kept on the mybaddii server for up to 12 months after you save it, then deleted;
• an abandoned, unpaid preview and draft model at the rendering service are deleted within 30 days after last activity;
• a paid-order production model is kept for up to 12 months after delivery, then deleted or anonymised;
• the print partner is instructed to delete its model copy within 30 days after dispatch unless a live fault investigation needs it;
• core order and tax records are normally kept for six years;
• support messages are normally kept for two years after closure; and
• routine technical logs are normally kept for up to 30 days, unless needed for a security investigation.

your privacy rights

depending on the circumstances, you can ask to access, correct, delete, restrict or move your information, object to legitimate-interest processing, or withdraw consent for future use. email contact@mybaddii.com. we may verify identity and normally respond within one month.

you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or 0303 123 1113. in the EEA, you can contact the data-protection authority where you live, work or believe a breach happened.

US privacy rights, including california

where a US state privacy law applies, you may have rights to know, access, correct, delete or receive a copy of information; opt out of sale, sharing or targeted advertising; limit certain sensitive-data uses; appeal; and receive equal service. the CCPA/CPRA applies only to businesses meeting its thresholds; this notice does not claim the site operator meets them.

the site operator does not sell personal information or use it for cross-context behavioural advertising. requests and authorised-agent requests can be sent to contact@mybaddii.com.

children

the physical baddii is a 14+ collectible, not a toy. anyone under 18 should ask a parent or guardian before ordering or sending personal information. contact us if you believe a child’s information was provided improperly.
